Reginox produces with people and nature in mind
Anyone who buys a sink or worktop from Reginox is contributing to responsible manufacturing. As a manufacturer, we keep an eye on the future of both people and the environment. Stainless steel is the most commonly used material at Reginox. This material consists of 70% to 80% recycled steel, which we use to manufacture sinks and worktops. The steel that remains during production is 95% recycled back into society thanks to collection and recycling resources.
Reginox is FSC certified, which means that we have a responsible wood policy and that we ensure that trees in forests are replanted. For this, we are audited annually.
Reginox has been working on reducing its energy consumption for years. We do this by, for instance, reusing the cooling water from our presses, purchasing energy-efficient engines, driving electric cars, installing LED lighting, purchasing energy-efficient boilers and centrally and digitally controlling the heating in our production halls. This is also an objective that Ter Steege Holding (of which Reginox is part) has included in its CSR programme.
Together with several other large companies in Rijssen, REMO was founded. This is a training centre for various technical courses. Apprentices work at affiliated companies two days a week. The other days they attend training courses at the training centre. At the end of the training course, the student is offered a contract by the company where they received the training.
Reginox engages in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We produce responsibly. Our materials are comprised of 70% to 80% recycled steel. Through collection and recycling resources, 95% returns to society. As of 2011, all our wood comes from responsibly managed forests. Cardboard packaging materials for our products consist of 80% recycled materials. Over the next three years, Reginox will try to use 15% less gas and electricity. Of all our paper waste, 95% is recycled into new cardboard or paper.
